Offset/Litho & Flexo Printing

Offset/ Litho is a process by which an image is burned onto a metal plate. This metal plate ultimately produces an image which is very clean and crisp. We can hold a screen upto 133 lines per inch. This is an extremely high quality method of printing.

Flexo is a process by which an image is tranformed into a polymer or plastic plate. The advantage of flexo over offset is that envelopes are printed at the same time as they are produced. Offset on the otherhand is utilized after the item is produced. Although you are sacrificing some quality with flexo you are gaining a product which is less expensive. Flexo is usually utilized in quantities of 100,000 or more. Offset is utilized with as little as 1000 pieces.
